Ken is a Director of Eco Swiss Investment Limited and drives Eco Swiss’s business development strategies and enhances the group’s current portfolio. He is leading a great efforts in exploring new business opportunities as part of the company’s vision of becoming one of the leading brands in Africa for development, investments and finance. Ken is a great business strategist and a global change agent.
Ken is the Country Treasurer for Absa Bank Ghana Limited. He joined Absa Bank in August 2015 as Country Treasurer. Prior to joining the bank, he worked with Standard Chartered Bank in various roles and capacities across the Treasury space for more than 13 years, the last ten of which was spent in Asset and Liability Management (ALM).
Ken is an accomplished banker whose wealth of work experience in balance sheet, liquidity, and interest rate risk management span various countries, including USA, Ghana, Cameroon, .the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and the UK, where he consistently generated high revenues, and oversaw significant balance sheet growth and stability. Kenneth is also currently the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Absa Occupational Pension Scheme and Provident Fund.
He holds an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School in London; a BSc Administration (Accounting Option) from University of Ghana, Legon and an ACI dealing certificate.
Prince is also the Founder of Doctors, a global medical volunteer programme committed to bridging the healthcare gap in Africa through volunteer placement, primary healthcare provision, infrastructural development, resourcing, training and research. His medical group reaches some of the most impoverished communities in Africa. He was the lead for the Ghana Consortium on Pharmaceutical Misuse and Consulted on then then newly created Ghana Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Campaign in association with the Ghana Padeatric Society. In 2018, he Co-Founded the Global Centre for Leadership and Social Innovation (GCLSI) which was a joint partnership initiative by the African Rights Initiative International, Centre for leadership and Organizational Effectiveness (CLOE), New York and School of Management at the University at Buffalo (State University of New York). Prince believes that leadership and innovation have great influence on social sector productivity and development effectiveness.
Prince is also the Founder/President of the International Earth Conservation (IEC) which he co-founded with a team of global development expert, initially as the Africa Policy Initiative for Sustainable Development in Oil and Mineral Producing Regions in 2010. He is leading a dedicated team of environmentalists, consultants, agriculturalists, agency workers, food system security specialists, public health and development experts, activists, economists, researchers and global leader, on broad range of ecological issues including agriculture, sustainable livelihood, sustainable innovation, climate change, fresh water security and clean energy.
He has led and been involved in numerous projects and programmes funded by international organisations such as the UKAID and DANIDA under STAR Ghana partnerships, UNDP, Ecobank Foundation, ASI USA, Western New York STEM, amongst others. As a strong member of the Civil Society Platform on the UN SDGs, Prince works with over 100 non-profit organizations, governmental agencies and companies in Ghana and beyond to create a network of change and taking country-led action on the Sustainable Development Goals. He Chaired the Civil Society Committee on Health. As a key player in the UN Global Compact Ghana Network, Prince is leading efforts to develop social value strategies for corporations and institutions in line with the Ten Principles of the Global Compact through the institution of the Social Innovation Conference and Social Value Submit. Prince writes, speaks and travels extensively in Africa, encouraging people to care for their environment, advancing the cause of smallholder farmers, and mobilizing communities to take actions for their common good.
Prince is considered as one of the young great Africa rising leaders of his time. In 2017 he made it to the best six young Africans nominated for the Eisenhower Africa Fellowship out of 83 applicants across Africa. He believes 99% of the development of Africa rests on the maturity of Africans. He is the recipient of the following Awards; The Distinguished Service Award by Rotary Club, Forty Under 40 Award (Exceptional Leadership in Non-profit management), MTN Heroes of Change, SAGE-Ghana Youth Excellent Award, National Students Distinguished Humanitarian Award, among others. For the past 15 years Prince has spent his life raising millions of resources to enhance the quality of life of Africa’s most vulnerable groups.
